<p>And in order to make an example, I guess something like this would suit a topp:states RSS output linking to Wikipedia articles about the respective states:</p>

<div class="code panel" style="border-width: 1px;"><div class="codeContent panelContent">
<pre class="code-java">
http:<span class="code-comment">//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/${feature.STATE_NAME?replace(<span class="code-quote">" "</span>,<span class="code-quote">"_"</span>)}?URL_TYPE=EXTERNAL</span>
</pre>
</div></div>

<p>The above is untested for the moment.</p>

<p>Any help on the docs? <img class="emoticon" src="https://jira.codehaus.org/images/icons/emoticons/smile.gif" height="16" width="16" align="absmiddle" alt="" border="0"/></p>

Has there been any determination as to which version this patch will be included? Thanks, David

It looks like it just went stale about two years ago. David: Perhaps you could rebase it against a current GeoServer, make docs, and submit it as a Pull Request?
