well, although

<parameter name="dbtype" value="postgis"/>

must be changed by:

<parameter name="dbtype" value="arcsde"/>

I'll asume this task is meant to the inability of updating the

datastore configuration through the config app. Anyway, I just fixed

a bug in sde datastore that prevented a featuretype to be found if it

is not declared as the full qualified type name, i.e.
instead of just
in info.xml.

Anyway, I'm seriously thinking in reverting this to force the declaration of full qualified type names, since more than one feature type may exist on the same database with the same name but different owners. i.e. SDE.SDE.BIZKAIA and SDE.GABRIEL.BIZKAIA

Is this the approach taken for oracle and/or postgis datastores?

any feedbak will be appreciated.
