Connect to PgSQL using application_name to improve visibility of service

Description

The application_name parameter in the jdbc connection will pass a string to the PgSQL backend which is visible in stats tables and logs, allowing DBAs a little more visibility into what application / service is causing what load.

Interesting... wondering if the param should be user configurable somehow.. What if, for example, one has multiple GeoServer instances connected to the same database, maybe each one serving a different need/audience (e.g., internal users vs external ones).
