Update the geoserver usage of GeoTools data api to use generics

Description

As GeoServer trunk keeps in sync with geotools trunk, and I'm updating geotools trunk as per the http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOTOOLS/FeatureAccess+super+class+for+DataStore - Data access proposal, geoserver needs to update its usage of the data api accordingly.

Note however this by any way means adding complex features support to geoserver, but to upgrade its usage of SimpleFeature/Type as per the introduction of generics in the geotools data api
